This phase of engagement has concluded
Have your say on ideas that could shape the Western Harbour masterplan.
What is Western Harbour?
Western Harbour is the name given to the regeneration project at the westernmost end of Bristol’s floating harbour which includes Cumberland Basin, Spike Island and the road network and land around Ashton Meadows. As the city responds to a changing climate, ageing infrastructure, the increasing threat of flooding and shifts in how people live, work and travel, we have an opportunity to shape a place that tackles all these issues together, while valuing what makes this part of Bristol so special and unique.
Have your say
Bristol City Council has appointed a masterplanning team lead by Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands (LDS) to turn the vision for Western Harbour from broad principles into a long-term masterplan. We are excited to share our emerging ideas.
We ran a public engagement from 21 October to 15 November 2024 to hear what you think. Your insights are crucial in shaping the masterplan as the team draw up more detailed proposals which will be shared next year.
Your comments are important and will be carefully considered by the masterplanning team as they proceed to draw up more detailed proposals. We will be back in touch in early 2025, when we will be consulting on the draft masterplan for Western Harbour.
If you have any questions about the engagement please contact Avril Baker Consultancy at hello@harbourhopes.co.uk or call 0117 977 2002.
