Over the next 25 years, Bristol Temple Quarter, which includes St Philip’s Marsh, will see significant investment and regeneration. This will deliver new infrastructure, homes, and business space. An important part of the vision for the future is to create a genuinely mixed-use area, with employment and business spaces that increase and diversify the jobs in the area, alongside new homes and public spaces.

To do this, we need to better understand businesses in the area: what they currently do, their current and future needs, and their long-term aspirations. We also want to ensure we provide ways for businesses to contribute to the development of proposals and give them regular ways to keep in touch with the Temple Quarter team and ask questions.

To help us to plan for the future in a way that supports local businesses, consultants from PRD met businesses in St Philip’s Marsh over a number of weeks in autumn 2022. PRD told businesses about the Temple Quarter programme and asked them to complete a short questionnaire.

The questionnaire aims to improve our understanding of businesses in St Philip’s Marsh. If you are a business in the area who didn’t complete the survey, if you have any other questions, contact us at TempleQuarter@bristol.gov.uk.

We will be in the St Philip's area talking to businesses again over the next few weeks (Feb 2024).
