Consultation has concluded
We are proposing to change the delivery of the Free Early Education Entitlement and Childcare offer at Bannerman Road Children’s Centre to a term time only provision. The nursery provision currently offers children the options of attending all year round for 12 hours a week or term time only for 15 hours a week.
We are committed to keeping the nursery provision open to enable local children to access their 2 year old early education entitlement but do need to re-shape the service to try to make it more sustainable as it is running at a deficit. The number of children attending during the school holidays is consistently low hence our proposal to move to a term time only model.
Please see the website for further information on Bannerman Road Children's Centre.
