Background
There are plans to redevelop the old swimming pool and existing Multi Use Games Area site at Filwood Broadway with a housing-led development. To replace the existing Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), a new high quality MUGA is planned for Filwood Playing Fields.
Construction of the new MUGA is currently on hold whilst the council works collaboratively with the landowner Fields in Trust to incorporate the MUGA into future masterplans for the wider playing fields.
In the meantime, maintenance works have been carried out at the existing MUGA on Filwood Broadway to improve the condition of the facility.
